Ladybug Cleaning Co.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026 · Effective for all visitors and clients of https://www.ladybugcleaningco.com

1. Overview

Ladybug Cleaning Co. ("Ladybug," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of everyone who visits our website or books our residential and commercial cleaning services. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights available to you. By using our website or booking a service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Information you provide directly — your name, service address, phone number, email address, and any details you share when requesting a quote, booking a service, subscribing to emails, or contacting us (e.g., pet notes, gate codes, special instructions).
  • Information collected automatically — device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring site, collected through our website and analytics tools (currently Vercel Analytics, and which may in the future include services such as Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity).
  • Payment information — processed and stored by our third-party booking and payment processor, Launch27, and its payment partners. Ladybug does not store full card numbers on our own servers.

3. Photos & Media

As part of quality assurance and marketing, our team may photograph or video the work performed at a property (e.g., before/after images of rooms, surfaces, or exteriors). We take reasonable care not to capture personally identifying items, documents, or individuals, and we do not include your name, exact address, or other identifying details alongside published images without your permission. If you would prefer that images from your property not be used in marketing (including our website's before/after gallery or social media), let us know at booking or any time afterward at help@ladybugcleaningco.com, and we will honor that request going forward and remove existing public uses within a reasonable time.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To schedule, confirm, and provide cleaning services
  • To process payments and send receipts or invoices
  • To communicate about bookings, arrival windows, and service updates (by phone, email, or SMS)
  • To respond to inquiries, quote requests, and customer service issues
  • To send occasional promotional offers or newsletters (you may opt out at any time)
  • To maintain internal records, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations
  • To analyze and improve our website, marketing, and service quality

5. SMS & Text Messaging

If you provide your mobile number, you may receive text messages related to your booking — for example, appointment confirmations, arrival-window updates, or reminders. By providing your number and booking a service, you consent to receive these transactional messages. Message frequency varies by activity, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages, or HELP for assistance. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, understand how visitors use our site, and support analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features (like our promotional popup or booking form) may not work correctly without them. Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as no common industry standard for responding to such signals has been adopted.

7. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as booking and payment processing (Launch27), transactional/marketing email delivery (Resend), and website analytics — each bound to use your data only to provide services to us.
  • Legal & safety reasons — when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ladybug, our clients, or the public.
  • Business transfers — if Ladybug is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, client information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a policy at least as protective.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal and booking information for as long as needed to provide services, satisfy legal, tax, and insurance recordkeeping requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the personal information we hold, and payment data is handled entirely by PCI-compliant third-party processors rather than stored on our own servers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and any applicable regulators as required by law.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may contact us at help@ladybugcleaningco.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to withdraw consent to marketing communications. We will respond within a reasonable time and verify your identity before acting on the request.

Nevada residents: Nevada law (NRS 603A) gives Nevada consumers the right to opt out of the sale of certain covered information. Ladybug does not sell covered information as defined under Nevada law; if that changes, we will provide a designated opt-out request address as required.

California and other state residents: Depending on where you live, applicable state privacy laws (such as the CCPA/CPRA) may give you additional rights to know, access, delete, or correct your information, and to opt out of certain sharing. We honor these rights for all users as a matter of policy, regardless of whether the law strictly applies to a business our size.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services and website are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Anyone booking a service must be at least 18 years old or the legal owner or authorized occupant of the property. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Our website may link to third-party sites (such as Google, Yelp, Facebook, or Instagram) that we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing information to them.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page; continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
